Reception
This term the Reception children have been learning how to ask and answer simple questions in Italian. We have learnt some songs, learnt how to say our name, how old we are, how we are feeling and how to count to ten in Italian. Have a look at some of our work.

Year One/Two
This term the Year One and Two children have been learning how to say the school prayer in Italian, learning Italian songs, writing simple conversation plays in Italian, performing puppet shows and focusing on how to write numbers up to twenty.

Year Three
This term the Year Three children have been learning the school prayer in Italian, learning Italian songs, conducting surveys in Italian and recording the data, writing plays to exchange personal information, performing simple conversations in a variety of different way and writing their own comic strips in Italian.

Year Four/Five
This term the Year Four and Five children have been learning the school prayer in Italian, writing a holiday recount in Italian using and extending upon their knowledge of functional grammar. Their finial copy will be presented as a power point. Here are a few examples of their writing.
