POSP (Parent Organised Sport Program)

St Martin de Porres School has a proud history of active involvement in extra-curricular sports activities. Participation in these activities is considered to be beneficial for the students, as it encourages the physical, social, spiritual and mental development of all involved.

These extra-curricular sports activities are organised by parents rather than the school itself, hence (Parent Organised Sport Program).  Where these sport activities are sanctioned by the school they are characterised by the students wearing school uniform and participating under the school name.

Through POSP, the school offers a variety sporting activities which includes:
Terms 1 & 4 - Students can participate in various sports. Reception to Year 2 - in2cricket clinics, Year 2 to Year 5 - cricket, tee ball and basketball (depending on student numbers & coaches).

Terms 2 & 3 - Students can participate in various sports. Reception to Year 1 - Auskick, Year 2 to Year 5 - football and netball (depending on student numbers & coaches).  Soccer is offered to all students in Reception to Year 5 (depending on student numbers and coaches).

Throughout the seasons, games are played at different time and various venues.
