Getting Involved

Our school is a strong community because of the involvement we have from our parents and caregivers.

As parents/caregivers, you are the primary educators of your children and combined with our local parish and community, the school compliments, supports and facilitates further learning as they grow and mature.

We have a strong history of parent/caregiver involvement in our school, and there are a number of ways you can be involved in your child's school and we welcome any contribution you can make through:

  • Classroom activities such as supervising small groups for English and Math activities, assisting with the reading program, helping with craft and elective groups or by offering to use their special skills
  • Class Excursions
  • Parent Organised Sport Program
  • School management through the School Board or Parent Community
  • Canteen

We'd love to talk to you about how you can be involved in the school community. There are some safety checks and Police clearances required for anyone working with our children - and to maintain their safety - and we can advise you of the steps you need to take.

"Ever since I became a part of this community I have felt so welcomed and valued. It is truly a family environment here. I also enjoy the extra-curricular involvement of students and parents, creating a tighter bond with each other and the school. The staff are fantastic to work with, always supportive and make coming to work each day fun and worthwhile." ~ Josh Rouse, teacher
