This year the Year 1's wanted to do something special for the Vinnies Winter Appeal. Over a few weeks, the children collected empty shoeboxes and lots of different food and toiletry products that could be put into the boxes and given out to the less fortunate people in our community. They decorated the boxes with so much care and enthusiasm and then, after sorting the items, ensured the boxes were filled with a variety of things such as non-perishable food, beanies, gloves and toiletries.
Thank you to all of our families for their generous donations and to the Year 1 students for taking so much care to make these special boxes.
